Directions

1

Brew the Tea

In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the black tea leaves and steep for 5-7 minutes. Strain the tea into a bowl and set aside to cool.

2

Mix Taro Powder

In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of taro powder with a little hot water until smooth. Gradually add the brewed tea to the taro mixture, stirring well to combine.

3

Add Milk and Sugar

Pour in 1 cup of milk and add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the taro-tea mixture. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.

4

Serve

Fill a glass with ice cubes, if desired. Pour the taro milk tea over the ice. Add tapioca pearls if using, and stir gently before serving.
