Heat 5 liters of water to around 165°F (74°C).

Maintain the mash at about 150°F (65°C) for 60 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Boil the Wort

Once boiling, add 1 oz of Bittering Hops (e.g., Magnum) and boil for 60 minutes.

During the last 5 minutes of the boil, add 0.5 oz of Aroma Hops (e.g., Saaz).

Cool the wort rapidly using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches around 70°F (21°C).

Transfer the cooled wort to a fermenter and pitch 1 packet of Ale Yeast.

Seal the fermenter and let it ferment at room temperature for about 1-2 weeks until fermentation is complete.

Fermentation

Clean and sanitize your bottles and caps.

Prepare Bottles

Dissolve 3 oz of Priming Sugar in a small amount of boiling water and add it to the bottling bucket.

Add Priming Sugar

Siphon the beer into the bottles, leaving about 1 inch of headspace, and cap them.

Bottle the Beer

Let the bottles carbonate at room temperature for 1-2 weeks.

Carbonation

Refrigerate the bottles for a few hours before serving.
