American light beer, lightly hopped. Aged with cherry producing a refreshing taste & aroma.

In a large brew kettle, heat 5 liters of water to 65°C (150°F). Add the pale malt and caramel malt to the water and stir well. Maintain this temperature for 60 minutes. This process converts the starches in the grains into sugars.

Mashing the Grains

After mashing, sparge the grains with hot water to extract the sugars. Collect the liquid, known as wort, in your brew kettle. Aim to collect about 5 liters of wort.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the Cascade hops and boil for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, add the Chinook hops and continue boiling for an additional 15 minutes.

Boiling the Wort

After the boil, cool the wort quickly to around 20°C (68°F) using an immersion chiller or placing the kettle in an ice bath.

Cooling the Wort

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel. Add the American Ale yeast and cherry puree. Seal the vessel with an airlock and allow it to ferment for about 1 to 2 weeks at room temperature.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of boiled water and add it to the beer. Bottle the beer in sanitized bottles and cap them. Allow to carbonate at room temperature for about 1 week.

Bottling

After carbonation, chill the bottles in the refrigerator. Serve the Cherry Bomb Blonde in a glass and enjoy the refreshing taste and aroma.
