Method
Preparation Steps
- 1
Cook the Beef
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- 2
Add Beans and Chiles
Stir in black beans, diced green chiles, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until heated through.
- 3
Prepare the Burritos
Lay out each flour tortilla and place a portion of the beef and bean mixture, followed by a scoop of cooked rice. Roll the tortilla tightly to form burritos.
- 4
Assemble the Dish
Place the burritos in a baking dish. Pour green chile stew over the top and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- 5
Bake
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
