1

Prepare glass

If you want a salted rim, rub a grapefruit or lime wedge around the rim of a highball or Collins glass. Spread the kosher or coarse salt on a small plate and dip the wet rim into the salt to coat. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.

2

Shake tequila & juices

In a cocktail shaker add 2 oz Cazadores tequila, 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz simple syrup (or agave). Add a handful of ice (about 4-6 large cubes). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until chilled.

3

Strain & top

Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over the ice. Top with about 2 oz grapefruit soda (or club soda if using plain soda) to your taste. Gently stir once with a bar spoon to combine — do not over-stir so the soda retains some effervescence.

4

Garnish & serve

Garnish with a grapefruit wheel and/or a lime wedge on the rim. Serve with a straw if desired.
