Preparing the Chicken

Season the Chicken
Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.

Grill the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Cooking the Pasta

Boil the Water
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

Cook the Fettuccine
Add fettuccine pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Alfredo Sauce

Melt the Butter
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.

Add Cream and Garlic
Pour in the heavy cream and add minced garlic. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.

Incorporate Parmesan
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combining and Serving

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly.

Slice Chicken
Slice the grilled chicken into strips.

Serve the fettuccine Alfredo on plates, topped with sliced grilled chicken and garnished with chopped parsley.
