Cooking Pasta
- 1
Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add 400g of pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Once cooked, reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
Preparing the Sauce
- 2
Sauté Garlic and Tomatoes
In a large skillet, heat 60ml of olive oil over medium heat. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn them. Add 300g of halved cherry tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until they start to break down and release their juices.
- 3
Season the Sauce
Stir in 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper into the tomato mixture. Allow it to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
Combining the Dish
- 4
Mix Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the tomato sauce. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired sauce consistency.

Tear 30g of fresh basil and sprinkle it over the pasta. Add 50g of grated Parmesan cheese and mix well until combined.
Serving

Plate and Enjoy
