Preparation
- 1
Chill the Glass
Before starting the cocktail, chill a champagne flute by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
- 2
Juice the Blood Orange
Cut the Sicilian blood orange in half and juice it using a citrus juicer or reamer until you have 1 oz of fresh juice.
Mixing the Cocktail
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Fox & the Knife Gin and 1 oz of fresh Sicilian blood orange juice. Fill the shaker with ice.
- 4
Shake Well
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients thoroughly.
- 5
Strain into Flute
Remove the ice water from the chilled champagne flute. Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the gin and blood orange mixture into the flute, filling it halfway.
- 6
Top with Prosecco
Gently pour 3 oz of Prosecco into the flute over the gin mixture, allowing it to float and create a layered effect.
Garnishing

Add Garnish
Garnish the cocktail with a slice of blood orange on the rim and a sprig of fresh rosemary placed delicately in the glass.
