Dough Preparation
- 1
Make the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center, add the egg, and start mixing with a fork. Gradually incorporate the flour until a dough forms. Add water as needed to bring the dough together. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Assemble the Dumplings
Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle (about 3 inches in diameter). Place a spoonful of the filling in the center, fold the dough over to form a semi-circle, and pinch the edges to seal. Then, twist and fold the top edge to create the signature culurgiones shape.
