Chill the Glass
Start by chilling an old-fashioned glass by filling it with ice water. Set it aside while you prepare the drink.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Stolen Rye Whiskey, 1 oz of Braulio Amaro, and 0.5 oz of maple syrup.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of walnut bitters to the mixing glass with the other ingredients.

Stir the Mixture
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted.
Serving

Prepare the Glass
Empty the ice water from the old-fashioned glass and strain the chilled mixture into the glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish the Drink
Express the oils from a piece of orange peel over the drink and drop it in. Add a walnut half as a garnish.
