Cold Brew Base

Whipped Cream Topping

Method

Cold Brew Base

1

If using pre-made cold brew concentrate, pour 1 cup concentrate into a measuring cup and dilute with 1 cup cold water to make a balanced cold brew. If using ready-to-drink cold brew, use 2 cups ready cold brew. Chill until cold.

White Chocolate Caramel Milk

2

Make the white chocolate caramel milk

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine 1 cup whole milk and 3 tablespoons white chocolate. Stir constantly until the chocolate fully melts and the mixture is smooth, about 3–5 minutes. Whisk in 1.5 tablespoons caramel sauce, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of fine sea salt. Keep over the lowest heat just to warm through and fully integrate (do not boil). Remove from heat and let cool slightly, then chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes or place in an ice bath to cool quickly to cold or room temperature.

Whipped Cream Topping

3

Chill a small mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 5 minutes. Pour 1/2 cup cold heavy cream into the bowl, add 1 teaspoon powdered sugar and 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract. Whip with a hand mixer or whisk until soft peaks form (do not overwhip). Keep refrigerated until assembly.

Assembly & Garnish

4

Prepare a tall glass (12–16 oz). Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the glass.

5

Pour the chilled white chocolate caramel milk over the ice, leaving room for cold brew. Use about 1/2 cup milk mixture (adjust to taste).

6

Slowly pour 1 to 1 1/2 cups of the chilled cold brew over the milk so you get a layered effect. Gently stir once or twice if you prefer an even flavor.

7

Top the drink with a generous dollop of the whipped cream.

8

Drizzle 1 tablespoon caramel sauce over the whipped cream in a spiral or zigzag pattern. Finish with white chocolate shavings (about 1 teaspoon) if using.

9

Serve immediately with a straw and a long spoon. Stir before drinking if you want a uniform flavor; leave layered for visual effect.
