Prepare the Steak

Flash sear the fillet steak over high heat for a few seconds just to torch the outside. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Chop the Steak

Finely chop the seared fillet steak and place it in a mixing bowl.

Make the Dressing

In a separate bowl, combine capers, Dijon mustard, chopped red bell pepper, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the dressing.

Combine Ingredients

Add the dressing to the chopped steak and mix until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serve

Plate the steak tartare and garnish with chopped chives. Serve with crostini on the side.
