Preparation
Juicing the Orange
Cut the orange in half and juice it to extract the fresh orange juice. You should aim for about 1 oz of juice.
Prepare the Glass
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice to chill the ingredients.
Mixing
Combine Ingredients
In the cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Bulleit Bourbon, 1 oz of Amaretto, and the freshly squeezed orange juice.
Shake It Up
Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
Serving
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish
Garnish the drink with an orange twist slice on the rim of the glass.
