Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew Hibiscus Tea

Start by brewing hibiscus tea. Use 1 tsp of dried hibiscus flowers steeped in 1 cup of boiling water for about 5-7 minutes. Strain and let it cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare Glass

Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside while you mix the drink.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine 2 oz of vodka, 1 oz of orange liqueur, 2 oz of cranberry juice, 1 oz of cooled hibiscus tea, and 0.5 oz of fresh lime juice.

  2. 4

    Add Bitters

Add 2 dashes of orange bitters to the shaker.

  3. 5

    Shake Well

Shake well for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is chilled.

Serving

  1. 6

    Strain and Serve

Discard the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass. Strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Garnish with a slice of orange wheel and, if desired, a hibiscus flower for an elegant touch.

  3. 8

    Enjoy

Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing St. Paulitan cocktail!
