Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your preferred strength.

Sweeten (optional)
If you prefer sweet tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar while the tea is still warm and stir until fully dissolved. Add fresh mint leaves for a refreshing flavor.
Cooling the Tea

After steeping and sweetening, remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill thoroughly.
