Method

Preparing the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mixing the Meats

In a large bowl, combine the wagyu beef, brisket, and chuck beef. Use your hands to mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Seasoning

Add salt and black pepper to the meat mixture. Mix again until the seasoning is evenly distributed.

  3. 3

    Forming Patties

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Heat a grill or large skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little vegetable oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 5

    Cooking the Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned, then flip.

  3. 6

    Adding Cheese

After flipping the patties, place a slice of white American cheese on each patty. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.

Preparing the Fried Onions

  1. 7

    Slicing the Onion

While the burgers are cooking, slice the large onion into thin rings.

  2. 8

    Frying the Onions

In a separate skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 9

    Toasting the Buns

If desired, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned.

  2. 10

    Building the Burger

Place each burger patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top with crispy fried onions and pickles. Cover with the top half of the bun.
