Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Glass

Start by preparing your glass. If you like, you can rim the glass with Sal de Gusano. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip it into a small plate of Sal de Gusano until the rim is coated.

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine the Blanco Tequila, Mezcal, Orange Liqueur, Fresh Grapefruit Juice, and Fresh Lime Juice.

  3. 3

    Shake the Cocktail

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds, until the mixture is well chilled.

  4. 4

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice. Make sure to strain out any pulp from the juice if desired.

Garnishing

  1. 5

    Add Garnishes

Garnish the cocktail with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass and place a grapefruit slice on top or alongside the drink for an appealing presentation.
