Prepare the Tomatoes
Dice the medium tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Seasoning
Add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the diced tomatoes. Toss gently to combine.

Chop the Basil
Rinse the fresh basil leaves, pat them dry, and chop them coarsely. Add the chopped basil to the tomato mixture and stir to combine.

Prepare the Mozzarella
Slice the mozzarella cheese into small cubes or tear into small pieces, depending on your preference.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven. Spoon the tomato and basil mixture generously onto each slice of toasted baguette. Top with mozzarella cheese pieces.
