Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Wash and core the apples, then chop them into small pieces. Place the chopped apples into a food processor or juicer to extract the juice.

Prepare the Apples

In a large fermentation vessel, combine the apple juice, water, sugar, acid blend, and pectic enzyme. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.

Mix Ingredients

Sprinkle the yeast over the mixture. Allow it to sit for about 15 minutes before stirring gently to incorporate.

Crush the Campden tablets and add them to the mixture to kill any wild yeast or bacteria. Stir well and cover the vessel with a clean cloth.

Let the mixture ferment in a cool, dark place for about 1-2 weeks, stirring gently every few days. The fermentation is complete when bubbling stops.

Store the bottled cider in a cool, dark place for at least 1 month to develop flavors. Longer aging will enhance complexity.
