Method
Strawberry Puree
Make puree
Place hulled fresh strawberries and 0.5 oz simple syrup in a blender. Purée until smooth, about 10–15 seconds. If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the purée through a fine-mesh sieve into a small bowl to remove seeds (optional). Yield should be roughly 1.5–2 oz.
Assemble Cocktail
Fill a highball or Collins glass with 1 cup of ice.
Add 2 oz Deep Eddy Lime Vodka, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 1.5 oz (or desired amount) of the prepared strawberry purée into the glass. If you strained the purée, spoon in the strained purée; if not, pour directly.
Stir gently with a bar spoon 6–8 times to combine base ingredients and chill.
Top with 3 oz Sprite (adjust to taste) to fill the glass and give effervescence. Gently stir once or twice to integrate soda without flattening it.
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim and an optional strawberry slice. Serve with a straw.
