1

Prepare glass and ice

Fill a large tiki glass or highball with crushed ice and set aside. If you don't have crushed ice, fill the glass with regular ice cubes.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker or mixing tin, add 2 oz light rum, 4 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz orange juice, 1 oz cream of coconut, and roughly 1 cup of crushed ice. Secure the lid.

3

Shake

Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled and the cream of coconut is fully integrated (mixture should look slightly frothy). If you used a blender or want a smoother texture, briefly pulse/blend for 3–4 seconds.

4

Strain and serve

Pour (or gently strain) the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over the crushed ice, leaving room at the top for the rum topper and garnish.

5

Top with Myers's (optional)

Float 0.5 oz Myers's dark rum on top by pouring it slowly over the back of a bar spoon. This gives a dark rum float and aromatic finish. Omit or adjust to taste.

6

Garnish and finish

Grate a small amount (~1 tsp) of fresh nutmeg over the top. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and an orange wheel on the rim. Serve with a straw and a small cocktail spoon.
