Cocktail Sauce

Method

Prepare the Cocktail Sauce

1

Make the Sauce

In a bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined and smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Cook the Shrimp

2

Cook the Shrimp

In a pot of boiling salted water, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the water and place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, drain and set aside.

Assemble the Cocktail

3

Layer the Ingredients

In a serving bowl, layer the shredded iceberg lettuce at the bottom, followed by diced tomatoes and onions. Place the cooked shrimp on top of the vegetables.

4

Finish with Toppings

Top the shrimp with sliced avocado and chopped cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the cocktail.
