Mousse Preparation

1

Melt the Chocolate

In a microwave-safe bowl, add the dark chocolate and heat it in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.

2

Prepare the Avocados

Slice the ripe avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a food processor.

3

Blend the Ingredients

Add the melted chocolate, cocoa powder, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the food processor with the avocados. Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

4

Taste and Adjust

Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup or honey if desired. Blend again until well combined.

5

Chill the Mousse

Transfer the mousse to individual serving bowls or cups. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
