Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients including blueberry vodka, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and lemonade.

  2. 2

    Juice the Lemon

Cut the lemon in half and squeeze it to get 1 oz of fresh lemon juice. Strain if necessary to remove seeds or pulp.

  3. 3

Make Simple Syrup (if not using store-bought)

Combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Allow to cool.

Mixing

  1. 4

    Combine the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of blueberry vodka, 1 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup.

  2. 5

    Shake

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

  3. 6

    Strain

Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.

  4. 7

    Add Lemonade

Top the cocktail with 3 oz of lemonade to add a refreshing twist.

Garnishing

  1. 8

    Garnish the Drink

Drop fresh blueberries into the glass and add a lemon wheel on the rim for decoration.
