Prepare the Burger Patty

Season the Meat
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until the spices are evenly distributed throughout the meat.

Form the Patties
Divide the seasoned beef into two equal portions and form each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.

Cook the Patties
In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, add the beef patties. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of brie on each patty to melt slightly.

Layer the Ingredients
On the bottom half of each toasted bun, spread a generous amount of lemon-herb aioli. Place the cooked patty with melted brie on top, followed by a layer of mixed greens, crispy fried onions, and a spoonful of sun-dried tomato jam.

Top with the other half of the bun and press down gently to secure all ingredients. Serve immediately.
