Beef Patty

Bun

Method

Prepare the Beef Patty

  1. 1

    Season the Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the seasoned beef into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about ¾ inch thick.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 3

    Fry the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

Cook the Patties

  1. 4

    Grill or Pan-Fry

In the same skillet used for bacon, cook the beef patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.

  2. 5

    Add the Brie

During the last minute of cooking, place brie cheese on top of each patty to melt slightly.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

Split the Kaiser buns and toast them on a grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

Spread lemon-herb mayo on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the cooked beef patty with melted brie on top.

  3. 8

    Add Toppings

Top each patty with crispy bacon, a handful of mixed greens, crispy onion strings, and a generous spoonful of sun-dried tomato jam.

  4. 9

    Finish the Burger

Cover with the top half of the bun and gently press down. Repeat with the second burger.
