Garnish & Rim
- 1
Prepare rim
Pour graham cracker crumbs into a shallow dish. If you prefer a sweeter rim, stir in the optional granulated sugar. Run the lime wedge around the outside rim of a chilled martini or coupe glass to moisten it, then dip the rim into the graham cracker crumbs, twisting to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.
Cocktail
- 2
Shake
Fill a cocktail shaker with the ice. Add Licor 43, vanilla vodka, fresh key lime juice, simple syrup, and the light cream. Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is well-chilled and slightly frosty.
- 3
Strain
Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared, chilled martini or coupe glass to remove any small ice shards and ensure a smooth texture.
- 4
Garnish
Float or place a lime wheel or small lime wedge on the rim (or on the surface) of the drink. Serve immediately.
