Base Soda
Flavor Shots (choose one or combine)
Garnish (optional)
Method
Assemble Soda
- 1
Fill glass
Choose a tall glass (16–20 oz). Add 1 cup of ice to the glass to keep the drink cold and maintain carbonation.
- 2
Add Flavors
- 3
Select one or more flavor shots from the list. Add the measured syrups or juices directly into the glass. Standard portions: 1/2 teaspoon syrups (vanilla, cherry, orange, raspberry, pomegranate), 1 teaspoon citrus juices (lime, lemon), 1/4 teaspoon strong modifiers like ginger, or 4 mint leaves (lightly torn or gently muddled in the palm of your hand to release aroma). If combining flavors, keep total added syrups to about 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons to avoid overpowering the soda.
- 4
After adding flavor(s), stir gently with a long spoon 3–4 times to incorporate without flattening the soda. Taste and adjust: add an extra 1/4–1/2 teaspoon of syrup or a squeeze of citrus if you prefer a stronger flavored profile.
Garnish & Serve
- 5
Garnish the rim or float in the glass as desired: add a lime wedge for citrus flavors, an orange slice for orange or cherry mixes, or a maraschino cherry for classic cola-cherry. Add mint leaves on top if using mint.
- 6
Serve immediately with a straw. Provide a napkin or coaster to catch condensation.
