Lobster Salad
Sliders
Method
Make the Lobster Salad
Prepare the Lobster
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the cooked Maine lobster meat, mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, finely chopped shallots, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Taste and Adjust
Taste the lobster salad and adjust seasoning if necessary. Add more Old Bay seasoning, salt, or pepper to suit your preference.
Prepare the Sliders
Prepare the Buns
Spread softened butter on the inside of each slider bun. This will help them crisp up nicely.
Toast the Buns
In a skillet over medium heat, toast the buttered buns until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Sliders
Spoon a generous portion of the lobster salad onto the bottom half of each toasted slider bun. Place the top half of the bun on each slider.
Serve
Plate and Garnish
Serve the lobster roll sliders with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the sliders.
