Inspect and prepare garment
Lay the pre-washed white long-sleeve tee on a clean, flat work surface. Check for stains, wrinkles, or defects. Steam or lightly press the shirt to remove wrinkles so it sits flat on the platen.

Set up platen and positioning
Place the heat-resistant platen or printing board inside the shirt to create a solid flat surface and prevent ink bleed-through. Use the Simmzy's Wave front chest logo location guide (garment tag) to mark the exact placement for the wave graphic with a small piece of masking tape on the outside of the shirt.

Prepare screen and inks
Secure the Simmzy's Wave stencil into the screen frame (mesh 110-160). Apply tack spray lightly to the platen or shirt hem area to hold the fabric in place, or use low-tack spray adhesive. Put on protective gloves. Measure 30 ml of the chosen water-based or discharge-capable ink into a clean container. If ink is too thick for the mesh, add up to 10 ml of water-based extender and mix to a smooth printing consistency.
Printing

Align the screen
Place the screen frame over the shirt so the Simmzy's Wave stencil aligns exactly with the masking tape placement. Double-check that the stencil is straight and centered. Clamp or hold the screen frame steady.

Flood the screen
With the squeegee, gently flood the stencil area by pulling the squeegee across the top of the design using minimal pressure. This deposits a thin layer of ink across the mesh to prepare for a clean print.

Print the design
Place a line of ink at the top edge of the stencil. Hold the squeegee at a 45-degree angle and pull the ink across the design with firm, consistent pressure in one smooth motion. For a crisp print on white fabric, do one strong pass. If you need higher opacity, wait 10–20 seconds and make a second pass after re-flooding the screen.

Inspect print
Lift the screen carefully to inspect the print for even coverage and registration. If there are gaps or pinholes, you can reprint immediately with another pass. Use a rag to wipe excess ink from the screen edge as needed.
Curing and Finishing

Flash or tack cure (optional)
If using multiple passes or layering, flash the print briefly (5–8 seconds) with a heat source to tack the ink and prevent smudging between passes. Do not overheat; just enough to set the surface.

Final cure
Cure the printed shirt using a heat press set to 320°F (160°C) for 12–15 seconds with light pressure, or run it through a conveyor dryer at 320°F (160°C) for 45–60 seconds, until the ink is fully cured. Follow the ink manufacturer's recommended cure profile if different. Use the heat-resistant platen to protect the back of the print during pressing.

Quality check and cleanup
After curing, let the garment cool for 2–3 minutes. Inspect the print for adhesion, evenness, and color. Remove any masking tape and re-press the neckline or seams if needed. Clean the screen, squeegee, and tools with water (for water-based ink) or the appropriate cleaner immediately after printing to prevent clogging.
