Method

Base & Grains

1

Cook oats

Combine rolled oats, almond milk, and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook for 6–8 minutes until the oats are tender and most liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat.

2

Add chia seeds

Stir in the chia seeds while the oats are still warm. Let sit 2 minutes to plump the chia; they’ll thicken the base and add texture.

Protein & Yogurt

3

Fold Greek yogurt into the warm oat mixture off the heat until smooth. If using protein powder, mix powder with 1–2 tablespoons of yogurt first to create a slurry, then stir into the bowl so the protein integrates without lumps.

Fruit & Fresh Toppings

4

Slice the banana and kiwi. Halve or leave berries whole depending on size. Arrange banana slices in a fan, place kiwi slices and berries on top of the oat-yogurt base for color and freshness.

5

Optional: toss berries with the teaspoon of lemon juice and a pinch of cinnamon to brighten flavor before topping.

Superfood Boosters & Mix-ins

6

Sprinkle hemp seeds, ground flaxseed, cacao nibs, and matcha powder over the assembled bowl. If using bee pollen, add a small sprinkle on top as a final accent.

7

If you prefer the matcha incorporated into the base rather than as a topping, whisk the matcha with 1 tablespoon warm water into a smooth paste and stir into the oats before folding in yogurt.

Sweeteners & Fats

8

Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the bowl to taste. Dollop almond butter on one side (or swirl into the warm oats) for creaminess and healthy fats.

Crunch & Garnish

9

Scatter granola and toasted sliced almonds over the top for crunch. Finish with fresh mint leaves as a fragrant garnish.

Citrus & Spice

10

Dust the bowl lightly with the ground cinnamon for warmth. Taste a spoonful and, if desired, add an extra squeeze of lemon or a touch more sweetener to balance acidity and sweetness.
