Glass + Garnish
Prepare glass
Select a clean highball or rocks glass. Add the ice cubes to the glass, filling it to near the top but leaving room to pour and stir (about 3/4 full).
Garnish
Cut a fresh lime wedge and set it aside for garnish. If using lime juice in the drink, cut and juice half a lime.
Cocktail
Measure 2 oz of Tito's Handmade Vodka and pour it over the ice in the prepared glass.
If using fresh lime juice, add 0.5 oz (about half a lime) to the glass. If you prefer a plain vodka soda skip this step.
If you prefer a touch of sweetness, add 0.25 oz simple syrup (optional). Stir gently with a bar spoon 6–8 times to combine and chill the mixture evenly.
Top the drink with 4 oz club soda or sparkling water. Pour slowly to preserve carbonation. Give the drink one gentle stir (2–3 turns) to integrate the soda without flattening it.
Garnish the rim of the glass with the lime wedge, or drop the wedge into the drink if you added lime juice. Serve immediately.
