Combine
Add 2 oz Bacardi Superior, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice and 0.5 oz simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
Ice & Shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup worth of cubed ice). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
Strain
Double-strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or a rocks glass filled with fresh ice, depending on whether you prefer it up or on the rocks.
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. If desired, slap a mint sprig between your palms to release aromatics and tuck it beside the lime (optional). Serve immediately.
