Preparation Instructions
Brew the Chai
In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add 2 chai tea bags and let steep for about 5 minutes.
Prepare the Espresso
While the chai is steeping, brew 1 shot of espresso or make a strong cup of coffee.
Combine Ingredients
Remove the tea bags from the pot. Add 1 cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of sweetener, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and vanilla extract to the chai. Stir well.
Heat Mixture
If serving hot, heat the chai mixture until warm. If serving iced, let the mixture cool slightly before adding ice.
Mix in Coffee
