Cocktail Base

Method

Prep & Glass

1

Prepare glass rim (optional)

If you want a sugared or salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the glass rim. Dip the rim into a shallow plate of coarse sugar or salt. Set the glass in the freezer to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

2

If using fresh peach slices for garnish, cut a thin slice and chill briefly. Juice fresh limes and measure ingredients.

Blend Cocktail

3

Combine ingredients

In a blender, add Aperol (3 fl oz), blanco tequila (1.5 fl oz), peach nectar (2 fl oz), fresh lime juice (0.75 fl oz) and simple syrup (0.5 fl oz, add only if you prefer a sweeter drink).

4

Add ice and water

Add 2 cups of ice and 1 fl oz cold water (or club soda if you prefer a slightly lighter, fizzy texture). The water helps the blender create a smooth frozen consistency.

5

Blend to slush

Secure the lid and blend on high for 20–40 seconds, or until the mixture is a smooth, spoonable slush. Pulse and check texture: if too thin, add another 1/2 cup of ice and pulse; if too thick, add 0.5–1 fl oz more cold water and pulse until desired consistency.

Finish & Serve

6

Remove the chilled glass from the freezer. Spoon or pour the frozen Aperol margarita into the glass, leaving room at the top for garnish.

7

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and a slice of fresh peach. Optionally, float an extra thin lime wheel on top for presentation.

8

Serve immediately with a straw and/or a small spoon. Stir gently before sipping if the drink has separated slightly.
