Base & Protein

Flavor & Texture

Method

Base & Protein

1

Combine protein and liquids

Add 1 cup cold water, 1 cup ice cubes, 1 scoop protein powder, and 1/4 cup Greek yogurt to a blender. The yogurt adds creaminess and extra protein; if you prefer a thinner drink use the almond milk from Optional Add-ins instead of yogurt.

2

Secure blender lid and pulse once to break up ice (about 2 pulses) before blending on high. This helps prevent large ice chunks and ensures even mixing.

Fruit & Sweetener

3

Add strawberries and sweetener

Add the 3 oz hulled strawberries and 1 tablespoon honey (or agave) into the blender with the base. If using frozen strawberries, add them directly; if using fresh and you want a colder drink add an extra 1/4 cup ice.

4

Blend on high for 20–30 seconds until the strawberries are fully pureed and the mixture is smooth and uniformly pink.

Flavor & Texture

5

Brighten and balance

Add 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of fine sea salt to the blender. These small additions enhance the strawberry flavor and round the sweetness.

6

Blend for an additional 5–10 seconds to incorporate flavors. Taste and adjust: add up to 1 more teaspoon of honey if you prefer sweeter, or 1–2 tablespoons of almond milk to thin the texture.

Optional Add-ins

7

If using milled flaxseed or chia seeds, add 1 teaspoon now and blend 3–5 seconds. These add-ins provide omega-3s and fiber but will slightly thicken the drink. If you opted to use almond milk, add up to 2 tablespoons now and blend until combined.

8

If texture is too thick after all additions, gradually add up to 1/4 cup more cold water or almond milk and pulse until desired consistency is reached.

Serve

9

Pour the Prime Protein Strawberry into a chilled glass. Optionally garnish with a fresh strawberry on the rim or a light dusting of protein powder.

10

Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
