Preparation Steps

1

Chill the Glass

Begin by chilling your glass. Place it in the freezer for about 10 minutes or fill it with ice water to cool it down while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing glass, add the Maker's Mark Bourbon, Sweet Vermouth, and Angostura Bitters. Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup).

3

Stir the Cocktail

Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds. This will chill and dilute the cocktail appropriately.

4

Strain into Glass

Remove the chilled glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Use a strainer to pour the cocktail from the mixing glass into the chilled glass.

5

Garnish

Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink by holding it over the cocktail and giving it a gentle squeeze. Then, drop the peel into the glass as a garnish.

6

Serve

Your Maker's Mark cocktail is now ready to serve. Enjoy responsibly!
