1. Prepare the Fried Green Tomatoes
Slice the green tomatoes into 1/2 inch thick slices. Dredge each slice in flour, dip in buttermilk, and then coat with cornmeal. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the tomatoes until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
2. Assemble the Dish
On a serving plate, layer the lettuce. Top with fried green tomatoes. Spread a generous amount of pimento cheese over the tomatoes, and drizzle with feltner sauce. Serve immediately.
