Method
Prepare Sangrita
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the tomato juice, fresh lime juice, orange juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ground cumin, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
Adjust Seasoning
Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning by adding more salt or pepper if needed. Set aside to let the flavors meld for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare Sangrita Maria
Prepare Glass
If desired, rim a highball glass with celery salt by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and then dipping it into a plate with celery salt.
Assemble Drink
Fill the prepared glass with ice cubes. Pour the Oaxaca Gusano Mezcal over the ice, followed by the house-made Sangrita.
Garnish
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
Serve
Serve immediately and enjoy your Sangrita Maria!
