Method
Classic Cola-style Soft Drink (330 ml)
Chill and prepare
Chill the carbonated water and the glass (or can/bottle) beforehand. Keep cola syrup refrigerated if required by the product.
Slowly pour 330 ml chilled carbonated water down the side of the glass to minimize foam. Leave some headspace (about 10–15 ml) to avoid overflow.
Taste and adjust sweetness: if you prefer sweeter, stir in up to 5 ml simple syrup. For a bright citrus note, add 3 ml fresh lime juice and gently stir once or twice.
Stir gently with a bar spoon (2–3 slow turns) to combine syrup and soda without flattening carbonation. Serve immediately.
