Fit Turkey Wrap

Heat 12 liters of water to 160°F (71°C) and add the Pilsner malt and caramel malt. Maintain the temperature for 60 minutes to allow the enzymes to convert starches to sugars.

Mashing

After mashing, drain the wort and rinse the grains with hot water (around 170°F or 77°C) to extract remaining sugars.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil and add Hallertau hops. Boil for 60 minutes, adding Saaz hops in the last 15 minutes.

Boiling

Cool the wort quickly to 65°F (18°C) using a wort chiller.

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel and pitch the yeast. Seal with an airlock and ferment at 50-55°F (10-13°C) for 2-3 weeks.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, bottle the lager with priming sugar. Allow to carbonate at room temperature for about 1-2 weeks.

Bottling

Chill the bottles in the fridge and serve cold for a crisp and refreshing taste.
