Preparation
Clean the Seafood
Rinse the clams and oysters under cold water to remove any sand or debris. Scrub the shells of the clams and oysters with a brush.
Prepare the Shrimp
If using frozen shrimp, thaw them in cold water. If they are fresh, ensure they are peeled and deveined.
Cook the Lobster Tails
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster tails and cook for about 8-10 minutes until they are bright red and the meat is opaque. Remove and cool before cutting them in half lengthwise.
Serving
Prepare the Serving Platter
On a large platter or ice bed, arrange the cleaned clams, East and West Coast oysters, shrimp, and lobster tails for an appealing presentation.
Add Condiments
Place lemon wedges, horseradish, mignonette sauce, and cocktail sauce in small bowls on the platter for dipping.
