Cocktail
1. Chill glass
Place a martini (coupe) glass in the freezer for at least 5–10 minutes, or fill it with ice water while you prepare the drink. Empty before pouring.
2. Combine ingredients
Add ice to a cocktail shaker. Pour in 2 oz Absolut Citron vodka, 0.5 oz PAMA pomegranate liqueur, 1 oz cranberry juice, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup if you prefer a touch more sweetness.
3. Shake
Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes very cold and the mixture is well chilled and slightly diluted.
4. Strain
Empty the ice (or water) from the chilled martini glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove ice shards and pulp for a silky finish.
Garnish & Serve
5. Skewer 3–4 fresh cranberries on a cocktail pick or thread them onto a lemon twist and place across the rim or float them in the center of the drink. Express the lemon twist over the cocktail by holding it skin-side down and giving it a sharp twist to release oils, then rub the rim with the peel and drop or perch the twist on the glass.
6. Serve immediately while cold. Enjoy responsibly.
