Directions

1

Prepare the Shrimp

Begin by cleaning the jumbo shrimp. Rinse them under cold water to remove any debris and then remove the shells, leaving the tail intact for presentation. Ensure to devein the shrimp by making a shallow cut along the back and removing the dark vein.

2

Cook the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Once boiling, add the prepared shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them. Once done, remove the shrimp and immediately place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.

3

Prepare the Cocktail Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the cocktail sauce and fresh horseradish. Mix well to ensure the horseradish is evenly distributed throughout the sauce. Adjust the amount of horseradish to your taste preference for spiciness.

4

Serve the Shrimp

Once the shrimp have cooled, drain them from the ice water. Arrange the shrimp on a serving platter. Cut the lemon in half and place it on the platter for garnishing. Serve the shrimp with the cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.
