Mimosa Ingredients

Method

Mimosa Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Orange Juice

Start by juicing fresh oranges to make 2 cups of orange juice. If you prefer a smoother texture, you can strain the juice to remove any pulp.

  2. 2

    Chill the Sparkling Wine

Ensure that your bottle of sparkling wine is thoroughly chilled. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

  3. 3

    Mix the Mimosa

In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed orange juice with the chilled sparkling wine. The typical ratio is 1 part orange juice to 2 parts sparkling wine, but you can adjust according to your taste.

  4. 4

    Serve the Mimosa

Pour the mimosa mixture into champagne flutes, filling each glass about halfway. Optionally, garnish with a slice of fresh orange on the rim of each glass.
