Marinade for Lamb Chops

Method

Marinating the Lamb Chops

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Lamb Chops

Place the lamb chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chops are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Cooking the Lamb Chops

  1. 3

    Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled.

  2. 4

    Grill the Lamb Chops

Remove the lamb chops from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off. Grill the chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Preparing Greek Fried Potatoes

  1. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the potato wedges and sprinkle with salt and dried oregano.

  2. 6

    Cook Until Golden

Fry the potatoes for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Making Tzatziki

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and chopped dill. Stir until well combined.

  2. 8

    Chill the Tzatziki

Cover the tzatziki and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled lamb chops alongside the Greek fried potatoes and a generous dollop of tzatziki. Garnish with lemon wedges.
