Coffee

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients: Greek coffee, water, sugar, and cardamom if desired.

  2. 2

    Combine Coffee and Water

In a small coffee pot (briki), add 2 tablespoons of Greek coffee and 200 ml of cold water.

  3. 3

    Add Sugar and Cardamom

If you prefer your coffee sweet, add sugar to taste. Optionally, add 1 teaspoon of ground cardamom for flavor.

  4. 4

    Heat the Mixture

Place the briki on low to medium heat. Stir the mixture gently until the coffee dissolves, but do not let it boil.

  5. 5

    Watch for Foam

As the coffee heats up, foam will start to form. When the foam rises to the top of the briki, remove it from the heat.

  6. 6

    Serve the Coffee

Carefully pour the coffee into small cups, allowing the foam to settle on top. Be sure to leave the grounds at the bottom of the briki.

  7. 7

    Enjoy

Serve hot and enjoy your authentic Greek coffee, taking small sips to savor the rich flavor.
