Chicken Marinade

Tzatziki Sauce

Serving Components

Method

Chicken Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Add Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and add it to the marinade. Toss to coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Tzatziki Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare Tzatziki

In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and chopped dill. Stir until well combined. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Cooking Chicken and Serving

  1. 4

    Cook Chicken

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers. Grill the chicken for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.

  2. 5

    Prepare Pita and Greens

While the chicken is grilling, warm the pita bread on the grill for about 1-2 minutes on each side until soft. Prepare mixed greens in a serving bowl.

  3. 6

    Fry French Fries

In a deep fryer or a pot, heat oil over medium heat and fry the French fries according to package instructions or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

  4. 7

    Assemble and Serve

Serve the grilled chicken skewers on warm pita bread with a generous portion of mixed greens, tzatziki sauce on top, and a side of French fries.
