Main Ingredients
Method
Preparation of Crab Legs
Prepare the Crab Legs
Thaw the Alaskan King Crab legs if frozen by placing them in the refrigerator overnight or running under cold water for about 30 minutes. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Butterfly the Crab Legs
Using kitchen shears, carefully cut along the shell of the crab legs to butterfly them. This allows for better grilling and easier access to the meat.
Making the Drawn Butter and Aioli
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and set aside.
Prepare the Dijon Aioli
In a bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic cloves, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
