Chimichurri Sauce

Method

Steak Preparation

1

Prepare the Steak

Take the Angus hanger steak out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Rub it with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

2

Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Fries Preparation

3

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries.

4

Fry the Fries

In a deep pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the potato strips in batches and fry until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.

Chimichurri Sauce Preparation

5

Make the Chimichurri Sauce

In a food processor, combine fresh parsley, oregano, garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Blend until finely chopped and well combined.
